Si comincia! La prima giornata del catalogo delle Tattersalls’ Book 1 Yearling Sale è appena iniziata. Si tratta forse della migliore asta in assoluto in termini di qualità in Europa, dove cercare il proprio campione. Il Book 1 propone 551 lotti, tutti eligibili per il Bonus da £25,000. L'asta ha attratto una collezione di alta classe tra le famiglie degli yearlings, di cui 17 sono figli dell'esaltante Frankel (Galileo). Ma non è tutto: L'asta include almeno 50 lotti tra mezzi fratelli o fratelli pieni di vincitori di G1 o piazzati Classici, e ben 243 di Group/Listed winners. C'è attesIntello rappresentato con 15 puledri, ed il duplice vincitore di G1 Declaration Of War con 13, mentre il campione sfortunato ma mai domo Al Kazeem ne ha 6 in catalogo, della prima annata da stallone abbastanza fallimentare causa fertilità. L'Highclere Stud proporrà 29 yearlings, il Castlebridge Consignment 24, mentre il Newsells Park Stud ne proporrà 23.
