Una notizia arrivata nelle scorse ore: Real Solution (Kitten's Joy) ha lasciato le scuderie di Gianluca Bietolini per tornare in America. Il figlio di Kitten's Joy (El Prado) effettuerà la quarantena veloce in Irlanda nelle scuderie di Dermot Weld e poi terminata la stessa prenderà un aereo per volare oltreoceano e preparare l'autunno riprendendo il filo del discorso con le corse, chissà magari proprio con la Breeder's Cup ad inizio Novembre a Santa Anita, o più in generale in inverno quando il cavallo si sarà ambientato nel modo migliore. A far leva sulla decisione di Kenneth e Sarah Ramsey, almeno al 90%, la difficile situazione dell'ippica italiana con le sue incongruenze, e dunque la scelta di far tornare all'ovile un prospetto di campione, sicuramente di talento, a correre negli Stati Uniti con dotazioni decisamente più rilevanti delle nostre in un'ippica che funziona. A noi italiane rimane il rimpianto di non averlo visto vincere nel Derby, dove lo attendevamo con ansia, ed in generale la constatazione di un'altra occasione persa per il nostro settore di essere valorizzato proprietari di livello presenti nel sistema corse. Real Solution abbandona così l'esperienza italiana forte delle prime tre uscite vittoriose (una nel Botticelli a tre anni) e poi il flop quasi inspiegabile nel Derby Italiano G2 (anzi a quanto pare la spiegazione è stata svelata da John D'Amato nei commenti ndr), ed un rientro sottotono nel Premio Campidoglio il 2 Settembre scorso a Capannelle.
Ogni popolo ha l'ippica che merita.........

RispondiEliminaPlease excuse me for not writing in Italian. Facts: Real Solution returned with blood after Derby and was found with infection. His poor showing in last race also showed blood. Because of his fragile lung condition, caused by the infection, it was determined that Real Solution would benefit by hyperbaric oxygen therapy and lasix - both are not available in Italy. Also not available in Italy is a business model for racing that attracts and keeps major American owners such as Mr. Ramsey, whose comming to Italy can be credited to me. I have, however, spent too much of my own money promoting Italy to American horseman, with no help from Italy, to continue to fight the layers and layers of bureauocracy, hostile regulation, taxes,instability and more. Famous Italian,(BV), American businessman Lee Iacocca wrote,"Lead, Follow or Get Out Of The Way". As a strong Italophile I have observed and concluded that with Italian horsemen - Everyone wants to lead. No one wants to follow. Everyone gets in the way - not good for the future. My offer - help me and I will bring respectability to Italian racing. This raises a question. Do Italians want global respect in racing ? To date - I am not sure. RispondiEliminaI also have to point out the reason Real Solution went to D.K. Weld, in Ireland. Ramsey and I were shocked when we found out that horses cannot go from Italy to USA directly - like the other countries in Europe amd elswhere. We never thought that Italy could be so poorly regarded in the agriculture/racing world. Real Solution has to spend 60 days out of Italy to be accepted by USA Department of Agriculture. Why ? Stupidity ! Doesn't Italy want the free flow of world class horses like - to and from Breeders' Cup, Royal Ascot, Arc, etc.? With obstacles like this do you think Real Solution would ever return to Italy for a G1- despite my glorification of Italy to Ramsey ? Worse yet is the fact that no good horses will come to Italy knowing that the horses will be stuck in Italy. Italian Racing cannot be helped by me or anyone, until Italian Racing begins to help itself - WHICH IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF ALL ! Ciao, John D'Amato, Italophile & Veritologist

RispondiEliminaMR D'AMATO YOU VERY REASON OUR SPORT IS NOT 'AT ALL PROTECTED BY THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND THAT WHEN REALIZED THAT THE TOY HORSE DID NOT MORE MONEY IT SHOULD HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF WELL LET DIE WITH A SLOW DEATH PAINFUL AND DESPITE THE GAME LIKE YESTERDAY I READ ON PERSPORT WITH REGARD TO THE FIXED ODDS OTHERWISE HAVE A SIGNIFICANT BELOW.
I REPEAT, BUT THE GUILT OF THE FALL OF THE SYSTEM IS NOT ITS ONLY THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE BUT ALSO OF OPERATORS DAILY STRESS THAT RIDING THEIR SLIM ATTACHMENT TO THIS SPORT AND REGARDING THIS LAST FACT I COULD BRING MANY EXAMPLES.

Guido, ho parlato ieri con Gianluca ed era ovviamente irritato per la questione. Non perchè si è voluto nascondere, anzi sarebbe stato pèiù semplice per lui dire che il cavallo fa sangue scagionandosi, ma soprattutto perchè lui sostiene non sia affatto vero della questione emorragia. Insomma, si sarebbe potuto risolvere in altro modo visto che mr ramsey ha ancora i cavalli a roma. Comunque, proverò a convincerlo a scrivere lui stesso delle considerazioni.
